Tanguy Renaud-Goud is back for his second edition. As the 24-hour hike and fly world record holder, he’s incredibly strong when it comes to hiking up mountains. But he’s also a phenomenal pilot.

Tanguy finished 10th in Red Bull X-Alps 2023, an impressive performance for any rookie. What was immediately noticeable from the Frenchman was his strength on the ground as well as in the air. Not surprisingly, he’s twice broken the 24-hour hike and fly record. The most recent was in April 2024 when he hiked an astonishing 17,534m in a 24-hour period, flying down after each 800m ascent.

Tanguy was born to do Red Bull X-Alps. He’s been flying since he was 12 and has competed in numerous adventure races, mountain bike races and also climbs and skis steep lines in the mountains. He got his first taste of the race in 2019 as supporter to Antoine Girard.
